Late nights and not a lot of patience

Friday, October 17th, 2003

Sorry for the lapse in posts. I’ve been knee deep in tests, projects and when I have free time, I’ve been working on this.

Yes, I think it’s time for a redesign. Knowing what I know about Movable Type, I thought it was time to streamline the website. I’ll leave the old site up as an archive kind of thing, but will eventually pull those in as well. I’ll let you know more about it as time goes on.

I’m starting to notice, though, that I’m really stuck on this centered content thing. Please forgive me for my repetitiveness.

Speaking of redesigns, though…Dan Cedarholm has redesigned the navigation at Fast Company, and talks about the process in this tutorial.

Zeldman is in the process of redesigning A List Apart, a web design webzine with lots of tutorials, tips and learning.

And as always, I’m plugging CSS Zengarden, where there are lots of ideas for great pages designed in CSS and XHTML.
